If you have been following me for any length of time, then you know that I am a HUGE advocate for self care. I truly believe that making self care a priority is essential to being able to give our best to our families. So, of course I had to create a resource of self care gifts for those of you who feel the same.
If you are a self care advocate like me or know someone that needs a little more self care in their life, check out my self care gift guide below for some inspiration.

One of the first things I do every morning as part of my daily self care is to enjoy a hot cup of coffee in solitude. I love the warmth, the aroma, the flavor, and everything else about it. This Organic Vanilla Nut coffee from The Bean Company is one of my favorites.
Perhaps the person you are buying a gift for is not a coffee drinker. Organic tea is another option. I have been drinking lots of herbal tea as part of my Month Of Hygge. I love to have it in the afternoon during my kid’s quiet time. It helps me relax without the extra caffeine. I also love this World Of Tea collection by Numi.
I have a fetish for mugs. There is just something about drinking out of a pretty mug that makes my coffee drinking experience so much more enjoyable. If you are buying coffee or tea, why not also include a cute mug to go with it? I love this pink “Hello Gorgeous” coffee mug by Eccolo World Traveler.
Looking after your physical well being is one of the most important parts of self care. Drinking enough water is essential to good health. A great tip for drinking more water is to use a water bottle that you love. It also doesn’t hurt if its free from harmful chemicals like BPA/BPS that are found in plastics and can leach into your water. I also personally do not like stainless steel bottles because I think they make my water taste funny. That’s why I love this purifyou Premium Glass Water Bottle with a silicone sleeve. Drink water in style and take it with you on the go!
Another essential element of your health is movement. My favorite way to fit movement into my day is yoga. I find it to be good for both my body and my mind. I also find that having a pretty yoga mat increases my enjoyment even more. The Gaiam Yoga Mat is not only a good quality, it also comes in lots of different prints so you can find one that you love.
A great way to get some TLC is to diffuse essential oils in your home. You can diffuse different oils depending on your needs (energy boost, mood enhancer, relaxing, immunity, etc.). If there are kids in your home, I would suggest checking out this article about using essential oils safely around kids before diffusing.
This could be to go along with the diffuser, or you could give it as a gift by itself. Essential oils are great for so many uses. I particularly love the Plant Therapy brand. I trust their quality and the prices are great compared to other similar quality brands. They even have a line that is safe for kids.
I love lighting candles to create a soothing atmosphere and nice fragrance in my home. However, most candles are made of paraffin wax which release carcinogens when burned. These Aira Soy Candles are organic, kosher, vegan and use essential oils for sent.
I love using a rich body butter to moisturize my skin. I also like knowing the ingredients in my beauty products are natural and safe. This whipped body butter by Majestically Made uses organic natural ingredients including shae butter, cocoa butter and coconut oil for a clean way to nourish your skin.
After the kids are in bed, I love snuggling up on the couch in something cozy. I received one of these Pure Bliss Quilted Sofa Comforters as a gift a few years ago and I absolutely love it! Even my husband loves it. Mine is bright pink and he shamelessly steals it from me every. single. night. So, looks like I need to get another one.
And there you have it! 10 awesome self care gifts. Many of these are on my personal gift list and you better believe I will be referring people to this page when they ask what they should get me. I would love to hear your thoughts and what other ideas you have.
