Looking for some new soup recipes to try this winter? That makes two of us.
I don’t know about you, but when it’s freezing cold outside, it is really hard for me to eat cold food. This is especially hard for lunch time because salads just don’t work for me in the winter. But, I still want to make sure that I am eating a nutrient dense meal, preferably with lots of veggies.
I think soup is a great alternative to salads, because it is so versatile! You can make it with just about anything you have on hand. Not to mention that most soups contain bone broth, which I consider to be a super food, especially when it is homemade. And of course, it is very hygge to have a hot bowl of soup on a cold winter day.
So I have put together this round-up of soup recipes so I can have a variety of yummy lunches during the cold weather months.
Most of these recipes have all real food ingredients. A couple of the recipes will have one or two ingredients that I would not consider “real food” but the rest of the ingredients are good (I am not about 100% perfection with my diet).
So check them out and let me know what you think!
